semi aquatic rhizomatous perennial herb, rhizome creeping, much branched,
as thick as the middle finger cylindrical or slightly compressed. Leaves
bright green, flowers light brown densely packed in sessile cylindrical
spadix, fruits oblong, turbinate berries with a pyramidal top. |
