Description |
It
is an erect annual herb and can attain 1.5 m height, much branched and
robust. Leaves are opposite in pairs, without stalks, pointed at tips up
to 10 cm long. Flowers are greenish yellow tinged with purple. Fruits are
ovoid 8 mm long. |
Distribution |
The
species is distributed in temperate Himalayas between 1500 – 3000 m from
Kashmir to Assam. It can be cultivated in the hilly region. |
